Application of the Bookmark method: setting standard for the ninth-grade mathematics achievement test in China

Abstract The purpose of this paper is to apply the Bookmark method standard setting. Based on Rasch Model in item response theory, a ninth-grade mathematics achievement test china has been taken as an example setting, and 2 cut scores have established distinguish students into different performance levels eventually, namely basic proficient scores. In addition, based use generalizability error practical are used indicators explore effect that panelists setting rounds made precision results through mixed design (p: g) × r. Result shows were respectively 52.25 67.53. Besides, increasing number group or will reduce error. necessary reference index when applying theory analyze by method, while also great value.
